\about me
I am a web/print designer and web developer with seven years of experience and am always looking to expand my artillery of knowledge in the creative industry. With the companies spending more money for online advertising and the industry going more interactive then ever, lately most of my work has been leaning towards anything and everything online. Over the years, I have worked with promotional media ranging from print advertising, direct mail marketing, to online media; including rich media banners, landing pages and emails. Strapped with the belief that great design comes from hard work, an open mind, and a clear vision of a goal, I started star47design this summer, an interactive advertising design agency geared to be an all in one design shop for small business.
Through my present business venture, career, education, internships, freelancing, traveling around the world, and gaining new creative knowledge by absorbing various cultures, I have developed a strong background in advertising, web design and development. I am a great team player and always work towards perfection with great efficiency and favorable results. I have a eye for detail and a need for getting things done right the first time. Throughout the past year, my skills as an designer have not only grown in conceptualizing and coding, but in account management and production. Working for myself and at a boutique marketing firm has given me the skills to work with clients on the business and creative end as one; by not only designing great work that adheres to the initial creative brief, but also by educating the client to make the right decisions for a better marketing/ad campaign.
Observing professionals and friends in the industry, it seems there is a vast disconnect between the business and creative side, knowing what it takes to be successful on both ends is vital to any agency and client. I work to bridge that gap, working both sides to help advance each other, resulting in greater efficiency and hopefully making more money, the root of it all.
